Who We Are :
Yashoda Welfare Trust was established in 2012 February by some like minded social workers who intend to return something to the society amongst their own income, to help the distressed women and needy poor senior citizens and poor students.
The main concentration of the organisation is to encourage needy people, especially students. Enabling them to choose their own interested skill areas, rather than proceeding in the traditional way of which may not help them in developing their own career. To materialize this interest we have designed “Career Guidance and Counselling” Training programme, for students who are studying in 10th standard. Enlighten specially rural youths on other useful field instead of going for Graduation, Engineering and Medical etc.
Few years of our experience in this field proved that the training guided considerable number of rural students in availing knowledge of their interested fields. Accordingly this activity is continued till today.
As our main concentration is on Education, distribution of scholarship to the needy and capable students, supply of learning materials to the students, are also part and parcel of our organization.
Our so long interaction with society, have convinced us that, as per the need of the hour helping downtrodden and distressed women, helping them in developing their skills through which they can gain financial stability are most essential. Accordingly we have started some skill developmental activities to the distressed women they are:
1) Fashion designing
2) Tailoring and Embroidery
3) Kowdi Making
4) Soap and Phenyl making
5) Warly painting
6) Blouse Designing
7) Mehandi Training
8) Khana Jwellery Making Etc.
We ourselves are pleased and satisfied by studying the improvement in the downtrodden women. Now they are financially self sufficient. This is also proved that, when a lady becomes financially self sufficient there recognition and stand in the society will be automatically improved.
As our journey continues, we understood that providing not only health services but also providing scientific health education is also one of the main important aspect. To meet this need as we are not so capable and also expert in all these areas we are availing help and guidance from some like minded NGO’s in materializing all other activities.
Considering changing taste of the society, we are thinking of providing training to rural ladies on 1) Computer operation 2) Assembling Electronic Equipments like; Mobile, Watch etc. and other skills.
Our sustained interaction with society, now-a-days encouraged us to educate different groups of the society enlighten them on importance of “New Education Policy” which is introduced by Government of India. We are confident we succeed in it.
